Since 1988, The American Health Journal, and more recently Innovations in Medicine, have been highly rated, award-winning healthcare television programs airing on PBS and reaching over 38 million public television households in the United States. Each 30-minute show features five 5 minute segments with a diverse range of specialists discussing a spectrum of interesting medical topics. Windsor Broadcast Productions, the producers of the shows, are experienced public television producers and work in a television magazine and news environment, ensuring a professional and objective program.
The American Health Journal and Innovations in Medicine segments are shot in the physician's own working environment, unscripted and in a comfortable, "teachable moment" style.
